ABOUT US
Ron Krommendyk and Rick Gootjes, fully insured and licensed builders for over 15 years, partner Deppe Homes LLC. Ron and Rick both received their training on the job. They spent nine years working under Bob Deppe, of Robert Deppe Building, Inc., and when he decided to take the company in a different direction they bought him out and changed the name to Deppe Homes. That was eight years ago, and they’ve been moving forward ever since.
Ron’s primary job is meeting with customers, assisting them in developing the blueprint, identifying the project cost, and formulating a detailed spec sheet for construction. Rick is more involved with the actual building process, spending much of his time on-site overseeing the construction process from start to finish.
Rick and Ron see the business as more than just a building company. “This company is really an extension of who we are,” states Ron. “We have both been so blessed to have a great heritage and we believe the Lord has given us this business as a platform to share that blessing with all those we have a relationship with. It is our strong desire to sow seed into the lives of all those we come in contact with, to encourage the building of strong families and marriages in whatever way we can. That is ‘Building on a Firm Foundation’. ” **
